OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe that routine is the enemy. Who wants to spend 90 minutes going from machine to machine, cable machine to dumbbell rack, chit-chatting between sets? WE DON’T, and we’re here because we know YOU don’t! We constantly vary our programming for a few reasons – 1) doing the same thing over and over again is boring, and 2) your body will adapt to the same ol’ stuff and will stop responding to what you’re doing. It’s a sad fact, but its the way we’re built. Do the same thing over and over again, and your body will simply stop responding. That being said, you’ll never do the same workout twice at our gym.. unless you’re doing a baseline test to measure your progress over time.
WHAT WE OFFER
1-on-1 Training – We have trainers available at any time throughout the day to meet your schedule needs. We offer 30 minute and 60 minute sessions, designed to meet your budget and personal limitations. We’re qualified to assist with post-therapy and post-surgical training to help you recover from injury/surgery, weight loss (we’ve helped clients lose over 150lbs), sports performance (we’ve trained numerous state champions/scholarship athletes), and everyone in between. We also offer small group training, so husbands/wives, co-workers, and best friends can exercise together, side by side, increasing motivation and fun while decreasing cost. Group Training/CrossFit Classes – We offer over 20 CrossFit classes per week.. from 4:30am until 7pm, we’ve got classes on the schedule to meet your needs. Our CrossFit trainers have all met the required qualifications to instruct classes at a licensed CrossFit affiliate, which we have been since March of 2009. CrossFit is a principle strength and conditioning program designed to help improve the 10 fitness domains: strength, power, speed, agility, coordination, balance, accuracy, flexibility, endurance, and stamina. What does this mean? Not only will you improve the way you look and feel (faster than any other fitness program we’ve come across), but you’ll improve your ability to perform daily tasks. Spreading 10 cu. yards of mulch in the springtime? No problem. Running after the grandkids? No problem. Passing required PT tests to get into the police academy? Easy. CrossFit is very much like a family, and you’ll find yourself completely hooked once you come on board and try a week of classes. Interested? Sports Performance Camps – We’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity to work with a number of outstanding athletes in the area over the past few years.. over 100 kids, to be more accurate. And during our time working with athletes, we’ve been able to help many of these hard working kids earn top honors (state champion titles) and as scholarships in their respective sports. We offer individual sports performance training, but our most successful athletes have been a part of our sports camps – group classes offered for either full team participation or sport specific individuals. We offer wrestling camps, football camps, speed and agility camps, girls conditioning camps, baseball camps, and school team camps. Our athletes become stronger, faster, more agile, and more accurate, all while becoming better students, leaders, captains, and young adults. Parents feel that our camps help their sons and daughters become more confident and mature, as well. Weight Loss Programming – Our newest program, Shape Up Hanover, is designed to help individuals who wish to lose a large amount of weight. Our weight loss coach, Sheron, has been down the same road that you’re looking to follow – her journey started several years, and almost 160 pounds, ago. She’s spent the past several years working her butt off (literally), and Shape Up Hanover is her chance to share her experiences with you.
